We are currently seeking a Full Time/Permanent Sr. HR Business Partner working with a large Oil & Gas Company in the Pittsburgh, PA Area
Job Description
The Senior HR Business Partner aligns business objectives with employees and management and serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. Maintains an effective level of literacy about the business unit's financial position, its mid range plans, its culture and its competition. Responsibilities include the following:
Conducts regular meetings with respective business unit managers;
Consults with line management to provide HR guidance when appropriate;
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies;
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues through conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations;
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance;
Partners with employee relations attorney as required to make decisions;
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions);
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention;
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation;
Recruits for supervisory and management positions within the business unit;
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning; and
Identifies training needs for business units.
Positions are available in the Production and Midstream business units.

Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources management or related field
At least five years of human resources generalist experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, performance management, federal and state employment laws, compensation, organizational management and recruitment
Relevant industry experience preferred
PHR or SPHR preferred
