The scores have been tallied after the fifth Nanton Nite Rodeo of the season, and the top contenders are running for the finals slated for Saturday (Aug. 4) at the Nanton Agri-Park.
The numbers set Reata Schlosser leading the junior high point with 33 accumulated points for the season. The senior high point leader was not yet determined by the time of publication.
Chesney Pighin is leading the way in novice barrels. She has racked up 160 points this season. Martyna Lively and Shelby Smith are tied with 100 points, followed by Jaycee Palmer with 80 points, Reva Wilson with 40 and Jace Sears with 20 points.
Reata Schlosser has scored in each of the junior barrel events this season, and leads the pack with 130 points. Fallon Nelson has 90 points, followed by Alisha Stevenson with 80, Nicole Tremblay with 60, Ashley Nelson with 50, Brooke Martine with 30, Shelby Smith with 30, and Jesse Sawley and Shayna Jones both with 10 points.
Reata Schlosser is also leading in junior pole bending. She has secured the lead with 120 points. Alisha Stevenson is in second position with 50, followed by Baylie Martine and Robyn Lively with 40 points, Nicole Tremblay and Brooke Martine with 30, and Lakota Bird, Nevada Nelson, Shelby Steewart and Shayna Jones have 20 points each, and Lorelle Holmes has 10 points.
Shelby Smith is leading the way in the adult/child team roping. She?s accumulated 110 points this season. Blake Schlosser, Reata Schlosser and Carla Bick have 70 points each. Lindsay Taylor and Quinten Taylor have 60 pointys each. Dustin Gonnet, Cody Seitz, Kashley Seitz, Mac Blades, Kade Christianson, Justin Blades, Lochlan Christianson, Billy Hamilton and Reva Wilson all have 40 points each. Ian McKay, Chase Keeley, Clem Armstrong and Parker Armstrong have 30 points each. Logan bird and Nicole Tremblay both have 10 points.
Pauline Hawk has 70 points in breakaway roping. Lakota Bird, Quinten Taylor and Colleen Pentelchuk all have 50 points each. Tristan Woolsey, Quinn Hawk and Lochlan Christianson have 40 points. Shelby Smith has 30 points. Nicole Tremblay and Reata Schlosser both have 20 points and Jesse Sawley has 10 points.
Jesse Loree has consistently placed in the senior barrels this season. She?s got a solid lead with 170 points. Cory Hawk and Jaycee Hawk have 50 points. Railey Tremblay, Shawna Easson and Hailey Stewart have 40 points each. Lakota Bird and Jodi Husted have 30 points. Shannon Kingsmith has 20 points, while Kaitlan Schlosser, Ryley Loeppky and Dode Sears have 10 points each.
Jaycee Hawk has ttaken the lead in senior pole bending, with 120 points. Kaitlan Schlosser has 70 points. Carla Bick and Pauline Hawk have 40 points each. Cory Hawk and Jessica Dykstra have 30 points. Kelly Keeley, Christine Sowiak and Madelaine Kimmerly have 20 points and Chasity Kennedy has 10 points.
Bill Holmes has secured the lead in the team roping with 110 points, followed by his son Mike Holmes with 100 points. Dale Andrews and Clem Armstrong both have 80 points, followed by Dennis Hambling, Tristan Woolsey, Colleen Pentelchuk and Jim Shields with 70 points. Cody Seitz and K.C. Seitz both have 30 points. Lakota Bird, Logan Bird, Cody Sawley, Rem Holowath, Joel Dykstra and Jessica Dykstra have 20 points each. Sage Woolsey, Brent Woolsey, Darcy Foster and Theresa Foster have 15 points each. Pauline Hawk, Quinn Hawk, Morley Lippai, Chad Wilson and Weldon Peters have 10 points each.
Stran Schlosser has 180 points to take the lead in tie down roping. Jake Burwash has 100 points, and Weldon Peters has 80.
Dallas Burns has 80 points in bronc riding. Dustin Sippola has 70 points, followed by Tyson Ulrich with 40 and Sam Mitchell has 30 points.
Blaine Dixon is leading in cow riding with 70 points. Sean Alexander is in second place with 60 points. Cooper Zur, Brandon Naumczuk, Ron Hunt and Kolton Arthur have 40 points. Cameron Rasmussen has 35 points. Riley Claypool and Brody Irwin have 30 points each. Jonathon Hubaty has 25 points and Layton McNain and Mat Hodgson both have 5 points.
Wilson MacDonald has a solid lead in the boys steer riding after accumulating 145 points in the boys steer riding. Curtis Clark has 70 points, followed by Kody Briggs with 45 points, Logan Biever with 40 points and Wyatt Chattaway, Joey Swanson and Christopher Hubaty all with 30 points each. Lucas Ferber has 25 points, Branden Tetz and Jack Mitchell each have 20 points, and Ron Hunt has 15 points.
Dustin McLeay has 75 points to lead the bull riding. Cooper Zur has 35 points, and Jordan Mitchel and Blain Dixon both have 14 points.
Chesney Pighin is leading for the fast time in novice barrels, with a time of 15.055 seconds.
Reata Schlosser has the fast time in junior poles with a run of 20.519 seconds.
Jaycee Haw has the fast time in senior poles with 20.980 seconds.
In tie-down roping, Jake Burwash has the fast time of 11.9 seconds, while Lochlan Christianson has the record in breakaway roping of 2.1 seconds.
Bill Holmes and Mike Holmes have the fast time in the team roping, with a time of 6.8 seconds, while Dustin Gonnet and Shelby Smith have the record in the adult/child team roping with 16.792 seconds.
Fallon Nelson has the fast time of 17.063 seconds in junior barrels, while Jesse Loree has the fast time of 16.792 seconds.
Dallas Burns has the high score in bronc riding with a 74. Kolton Arthur has a 76 for a top score in cowriding, while Logan Biever has a 69 in steer riding.
Cooper Zur and Dustin McLeay are tied with a 70 in bullriding.
