Environmental Sustainability for the Construction Industry | Patton

Business in the Community?s ARENA Network (sponsored by NI Environment Agency) and Connections (sponsored by Electric Ireland), CITB ? Construction Skills NI, and the South West College joined forces to provide a FREE evening seminar to help support small construction firms with tendering and supply-chain development through improved energy, environmental and waste management. ??

The seminar was focused on how to develop stronger green credentials and how this can help small building firms win more business through the tendering process by improving resource efficiency and reducing both carbon emissions and the costs of energy and waste management.??

The seminar was chaired by Barry Neilson of the CITB Construction Skills, and speakers included Kevin McGarvey, Environmental Management Adviser at Farrans, Liam McEvoy Environmental & Quality Manager at Patton, and Colin Smyth from Constructing Excellence NI.
